My compensation was reasonable for this type of work, and they provided some benefits, although the health insurance was not great. When it came time for me to get a new contract, I felt abandoned however, and am no longer working with them. Research the 2021 Chevrolet Bolt EV with our expert reviews and ratings. We have reviewed the complaint filed as well as the agreement that was signed by the merchantI do see that the merchant discusses fees andrates that they say were spoken about with the sales representativeI cannot comment on what their conversation was, but in order to processan application to
open an account, the merchant must sign an agreementThe signature page of this agreement clearly spells out all of the ratesand fees associated with the accountThis is done purposely to make sure the merchant knows exactly what they will be paying for our services. This agreement was reviewed and signed by the merchant thereby agreeing to the rates and fees that were chargedAs far as paying more than theydid before, I would not be able to comment on the validity of that statement, but I do know that many merchants switch providers for reasons otherthan cost, such as due to service issues so whether the cost is higher or not is not always an issue.Because the merchant signed and submitted the agreementthe account was opened and the merchant processed sales on the accountThey werebilled according to the agreementAt a point in time, the merchant contacted our support team to discuss the rates on certain transactionsTheystated they would have paid less with previous processor, however the actual industry cost for this particular transaction was higher than what they say they would have paid and it would seem difficult to believe that a company would charge less than it cost them and lose money on transactions.Again, these charges were agreed to by the merchantAt a later point, the merchant decided to cancel the accountAs per the signed agreement, theywere charged the $termination fee that they agreed to when they originally signed and submitted the agreement to open an accountAs the merchanthas said in their complaint, they worked with their bank to cancel this charge to their account. At this point, the merchant still legally owes us the $feeThey also discussed additional fees they want refundedThese fees were for the processingthat they did on the accountThey used the account and are required to pay for their use of the account. As a courtesy, we will waive the termination fee on this account and not seek to collect what is owed ($295)The fees that were paid will not be refunded asthese were for the actual use the merchant made of the accountAgain, we do agree to waive the termination fee as a courtesy

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The rep clearly told me there would be NO FEESShe was very specific, and told me I would ONLY be charged 2.55% of the transactionsAs you can see from the attachments, I signed a contract without a specific box checkedWhen rep Tammy left my store, she or someone else at Volt checked a box without notifying me of the change, and for almost a year deducted monthly 'gateway' fees without my prior authorizationAs I said in original complaint, I contacted them several times to complain and I even have a saved voice mail from a 'Milton' from Volt saying that he checked my document against the one they have on file and sees no differences! See both attachments! This is not acceptable and I want to be refunded for all the unauthorized fees that were taken from my accountAlso in November when I did not have any transactions, they debited $from my account! Volt still owes me approximately $for all these unauthorized feesThis matter is not resolved.

To confirm, we have refunded the merchant back all charges she has requestedThis combined refund has covered everything we believe has been charged including an additional refund we offered in our last response of $on top of everything elseWe have researched her latest request for a cents to be refunded but we have researched and there is no indication that this came from Volt. To confirm, we have done everything we could and refunded this merchant everything she asked forAt this point, this is Volt Payment's Last Response to this complaint
We have read the complaint concerning the fees charged to the account in questionThe merchant states that there was a change made to some of the paperwork showing certain feesThe paperwork we have on file is standard paperwork and we cannot verify that any change was madeThe only changes that
were made was that this account was offered a special program for low volume merchants which did waive a number of standard feesHowever, it did not waive all fees and this was noted on the additional addendum signed by the merchantI believe this is what she states was changed, however we cannot verify that and this fee would not be waived even with the special program she was offered. After reviewing the account and speaking with this merchant, our Customer Care Team had already processed returns for most of the fees the merchant is requesting in this complaintThere was no need to file a complaint for these fees as it was already addressed by Customer Care on the phone conversations with the merchantThey submitted refunds for $99, $and $I believe we have worked to offer a resolution to most of the merchant's concerns even before this complaint was submitted. Thank you----
We have read the complaint submitted and have reviewed the account in questionAs a courtesy, I have spoken to the Accounting Department and advised them to halt any attempts at collecting a term feeThis account is now closed with no additional funds owed

I was not disclosed by their employee and I do not have a signed agreement that was sent to me. After closing my account and this cancellation fee that was assessed, their company even sent me an email to rejoin their merchant plan. As far as I am concerned and since they took this fee without my knowing and easily when they are attached to your bank account is very dishonest. They did not work with me at the beginning and I will not ever choose or refer their company again. Most companies would come in and sit down and explain all their fees and send you a copy. I have looked through my records and I do not have it. I only have an application agreement. Either way this company failed at their processing and I will never refer their company again to any of my fellow merchants.

Our merchant support team has been in contact with the merchant to discuss all issues concerning the account as well as equipment and charges. As per those discussions, the account will remain closed, the original fee for the returned equipment was never actually collected so no refund is due and,..
as a courtesy, we will issue a credit for the $75 encryption fee as requested.
We reviewed the complaint submitted for the business Consignment Castle. In the complaint, the merchant claims they were being charged more for our services than with their previous company. They also state they were charged an annual fee and a termination fee which were never disclosed. As..
far as the higher costs, the merchant did contact our support group to discuss the issue and stated they believed they were paying more with our company. Our Customer Care Team offered to review the rates being charged to see if they could be adjusted. The merchant refused this offer and instead decided to cancel and sent in the cancellation request. The offer to review the rates was a courtesy extended to the merchant and most likely would have resulted in a savings to them---however they seemed to have already made up their mind to cancel as they refused this offer. As per the signed agreement, when the account was closed prior to meeting the three year contract term, a termination fee of $295 was charged. Again, this was in keeping with the signed agreement. The termination fee is listed on the application and is actually on the signature page where the merchant must sign for the account. As far as the annual fee, this is also listed on that same signature page along with the other rates and fees for the account. The merchant states the representative never disclosed these fees and since I was not present during their conversation all I can say is that it would be discussed as a normal part of the process but that, again, this information is clearly stated on the signature page of the agreement. The rates and fees are purposely located on this page so that we are guaranteed the merchant has to see them before signing so there is no confusion. We tried to work with the merchant while the account was open and offered to perform a rate review which would be done to see if we could adjust the rates to save the merchant money. If they refuse our offer and decide to close the account, then we simply follow the signed agreement. We would have preferred to work with the merchant and keep the account open but they refused and chose to close the account.
I have used Volt Payments for the past 3 years now and I am very satisfied! I call them about once every other month for a question on my equipment. They always answer quickly and solve the issue. I find their rates and fees to be lower than my past processor and have even ordered gift cards through them. I would recommend
Review: I met with a [redacted], Sales Agent, on 10/**/14, signed a contract to credit card processing. Did not hear from company until on or about 11/**/14, from a [redacted], who stated that she had faxed over some changes to original contract that needed initialing. When I received the contract many additional charges were added in. I called [redacted] and stated I would not be doing business with them because they misrepresented their charges. She told me that if they didn't add those charges then her company wouldn't make any money. I asked if [redacted] could come back so we could meet and we can discuss, I was told [redacted] is no longer with company. I was then told there was a termination fee of $295.00. The next day a gentleman with the name of '[redacted]' called and tried to get me to go forward with doing business with this company. When I asked him about additional charges, he would not discuss it. The next day another gentleman called, I did not get his name. He asked me if we were going forward. I told him I would not do business with a company the was so unethical and devious. I was told again, I would be charged a termination fee of $295.00. How can we terminate when we did not even begin. I was never giving a account number or how to set up. On 11/**/2014 there was a debit on the business checking account of $295.00.Desired Settlement: I would like refund to the account.
